'The Hose' goes to Indonesian filmfest.

TEHRAN, Nov. 12 (MNA) – ‘The Hose’, directed by Masoud Forouzesh, was screened in Light of Asia section in JAFF.

‘The Hose’, a short film by Masoud Forouzesh will be screened in the first ‘Light of Asia’ section in the 12th JAFF film festival.

The director of ‘The Hose’, Mansour Forouzesh, has made 7 other short films. He has also contributed to more than 20 TV documentaries and has served as a member of the jury panel in Iranian and foreign film festivals. 

‘The Hose’ is about a teacher who has decided to change his teaching method and adopt a new plan for teaching students. ‘The Hose’ has vied in more than 40 international film festivals and has been nominated for and collected more than 10 awards.

Sirous Hemmati and Kasra Kourablou star in this 15 minute film. Sirous Hemmati was nominated for the best actor award at Hong Kong international film festival.

Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival has added the ‘Light of Asia’ section to its events based on the idea that Asian cinema and society should be closely intertwined. 

This Indonesian film festival is held annually, featuring fiction, animation and documentary films. 

The 12th Jogia-Netpac film festival is slated for 1-8 December, 2017.
